When we first started thinking about the Filmmobile, we knew that we wanted to make sure that it would run on Green Fuel - renewable and clean burning.

We investigated several options including biodiesel, waste vegatable oil, dual fuel systems and ethanol. After much deliberation, we decided to do a veggie oil conversion of a diesel bus. What this means is that the bus has two tanks - one filled with diesel and the other with vegetable oil. It can run on both fuels.

We can get diesel at most gas stations. Vegetable oil, instead, is sourced at fast food restaurants (their waste).

In the future, we are exploring installing solar panels on the roof to recharge the batteries of all our electronic equpment and using kid power when we stop. (By having bicycles connected to generators).
